These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the HSTL mobile apps, website, and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Certain users may be granted admin privileges to manage a club (e.g., create sessions, manage rewards, view club metrics). Admins agree to:
A club may have multiple admins. Clubs are responsible for controlling who has admin access and for actions taken by admins under their accounts.

You may submit content such as:
You retain ownership of your content, but you grant HSTL a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, use, display, and distribute it within the Services to operate and promote the product (for example, showing a session page, or showing a club logo inside the app). You represent you have the rights to submit this content.
The Services may integrate with third parties (e.g., Strava, Shopify) or link to third-party services. Reward codes may be issued through third-party platforms such as Shopify. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies. HSTL is not responsible for third-party outages, changes, or redemption issues.
Clubs and their brand partners may offer rewards through the Services, including discount codes, vouchers, and other incentives tied to participation milestones such as streaks or check-in counts.
Rewards, voucher codes, and discount codes are provided by the relevant club or brand partner. HSTL facilitates the delivery of rewards but is not the issuer. HSTL is not responsible for the redemption, validity, value, or expiry of any reward or code. If you have trouble redeeming a reward, contact the issuing club or brand using the support contact provided on the reward card.
Reward codes are personal to the runner who earned them. Sharing, selling, or transferring codes may void them at the issuing brand's discretion.
Reward codes may have an expiry date. It is your responsibility to use codes before they expire. HSTL is not responsible for expired or unused codes.
HSTL reserves the right to modify, pause, or remove reward features at any time to prevent abuse, protect integrity, or comply with law.
Entries have no cash value. Entries are used only within the app for allocation to raffles where enabled. Raffles are administered by clubs and/or HSTL tooling; rules may vary by club. We may modify, suspend, or end raffles to prevent abuse or comply with law. Where required, clubs are responsible for ensuring their raffles comply with local laws.
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that we process data as described there.
The Services, including software, design, trademarks, and logos (excluding user content), are owned by HSTL and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by law.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We will try to keep the Services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
You can stop using the Services at any time and delete your account in the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HSTL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
RUNNING AND GROUP EVENTS INVOLVE RISK. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, HEALTH, AND DECISIONS.
REWARDS AND VOUCHER CODES ARE PROVIDED BY CLUBS AND BRAND PARTNERS, NOT BY HSTL. HSTL MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE VALUE, AVAILABILITY, OR USABILITY OF ANY REWARD.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
HSTL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
HSTL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INJURY, LOSS, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM REAL-WORLD EVENTS OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
HSTL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS ARISING FROM THE NON-REDEMPTION, EXPIRY, OR INVALIDITY OF REWARD CODES OR VOUCHERS ISSUED BY CLUBS OR BRAND PARTNERS
HSTL'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED €50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO HSTL IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (WHICHEVER IS GREATER)
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case, the limitation applies to the maximum extent allowed.
If you use the Services in a way that causes legal claims against HSTL (for example, you post infringing content, commit fraud, or issue fraudulent rewards), you agree to indemnify and hold HSTL harmless from resulting claims, liabilities, and reasonable costs.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Amsterdam, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
We may update these Terms. We will post updated Terms on hstl.run and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may also notify you in-app or by email. Continued use after the update means you accept the updated Terms.
